Elements of Islay Sherry Cask is a blended malt whisky from the core range of the Elements of Islay brand, created by Elixir Distillers. It is composed exclusively of Islay single malts, matured in a combination of first-fill and refill sherry butt and hogshead casks. Bottled at a robust 54.5% ABV, it offers an intense yet balanced expression where deep peat smoke is integrated with notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and spiced orange peel. The whisky is non-chill filtered and has natural color. It is part of a new core trilogy of blended malts introduced in 2022, alongside Cask Edit and Bourbon Cask. The brand focuses on expressing the terroir of Islay rather than promoting individual distilleries, keeping the exact distillery components undisclosed.
