Rich sherry-driven with dark fruit, fig, and raisin, folded into warm toffee and burnt sugar. Carved oak and vanilla add gentle spice, while cocoa and almond notes hint at confectionery sweetness. Sharp and quite vinegary at first, then softens, becoming intense and autumnal. [10, 11, 12]
Palate
Velvety and richly sherried, coating the palate with notes of raisin, fig, and orange zest, tempered by mocha and toffee. Toasted almond and baking spices weave through a bright oak backbone. Full and rich drying sherry, with dried berries, currants and prune. A dry mineral note and a rubbery, wine gum character. [10, 11, 12]
