The nose puts sweet malt beside earth, green leaves and thyme, with thick peat cutting through. On the palate, malty sweetness and peat lead into a striking shift: limestone with toffee and barley sugar. That contrast gives the malt detail room to show without losing the peat. The long, spicy, lingering finish sounds assertive. The flavour progression is more compelling than sweetness alone.
