Description

A delicate Japanese blended whisky, Enso translates from Japanese to 'circle' or 'cycle'. Hailing from Kiyokawa, within Kanagawa Prefecture, the whisky itself was distilled in pot stills, and matured in American oak. Fabulous neat, though a top contender for a Highball, we reckon.

Nose
Soft vanilla aromas with caramel and toffee, followed by aromas of tropical fruits - becoming more floral in the background
Palate
Soft and mouth-filling in the taste - again the fresh vanilla pods and the soft caramel, with butterscotch and light cereal notes - above all a light fruitiness
Finish
Mild and balanced in the finish - vanilla and fruits remain present
