Description
Named after the father of bourbon and Welsh immigrant, Evan Williams who, in 1783, founded Kentucky's supposed first commercial distillery on the Ohio River. The modern brand has little more than the name connecting it to Mr Williams; it was established in the mid-1900s and is now produced in Kentucky by Heaven Hill, which also owns Elijah Craig. This Evan Williams bourbon was barreled on 14th April 2010 and left to mature in a single barrel #711. It was then bottled on 22nd May 2018 at 86.6° proof (43.3% ABV).
