Description

This Excalibur 1972 45 Year Old is a brilliant blended Scotch whisky from independent bottler Meadowside Blending. Distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2017, this small batch release is a marriage of grain and malt whiskies, including those from Glenrothes, Tamdhu, and the now-silent Lochside distillery. It was matured for nearly five decades in oak wood, resulting in an elegant, smooth, and fruity dram. A total of 1,200 bottles were released at 42.2% ABV.
