Nose
A crisp, light nose offering notes of toffee apples, dried flowers, biscuity barley, apricots, sherry, juicy fresh oak, barley, red grapes, honey, light brown sugar, melon, and a whisper of smoke.
Palate
Balanced, biscuit-laden palate with a core of thick, creamy malt, a hint of spice, a vague whisper of smoke, Calvados, slight butter, flowering currant, crystallised ginger, medium-light body, malt, tea-biscuit-ish, honey, faint red grape notes, herbaceous flavors, and a whole lot of honey.
Finish
A slightly sweet, malty finish, faint suggestion of garden bonfires, medium length, honey, very faint hints of smoke and milk chocolate, smooth, and perfectly balanced.
