The Famous Grouse Smoky Black is a blended Scotch whisky, launched in late 2015 as a replacement for The Black Grouse. It is crafted from a blend of specially selected peated malts, including Glenturret and Islay malts, combined with exceptional grain whiskies. Matured in both European oak sherry casks and American oak casks, this expression offers a rich, deep fruity flavor with a distinctive smoky character, aiming for a smooth yet aromatic profile.
