Description

Created in 1896 by Mathew Gloag, it was initially called the Grouse Blend but the 'Famous' prefix was added in 1905 after the success of the brand. Owned by the Edrington Group, it is stablemates with Highland Park and Macallan and was awarded the Royal Warrant in 1984. This bottle is The Famous Jubilee, part of The Famous Grouse range released as a special edition to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the throne (Diamond Jubilee) in 2012. It is a blend of fine malts, such as The Macallan and Highland Park, with sweet grain whiskies for a smooth finish.
