Description

Distilled at the Fettercairn distillery in the Highlands, this release was bottled exclusively for Drumbeg Stores in Sutherland. This expression was laid down to mature in a single cask for at least 9 years before 210 bottles were produced at a strength of 55.1% abv. Fettercairn has a very traditional distillery setup with an open-topped mash tun, wooden washbacks, and small stills, including soap grinders on the wash stills to prevent boiling over.
