Description
One of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland, Fettercairn was opened in 1825 and after having many owners - including Sir John Gladstone, father of 4-time British Prime Minister William Gladstone - is currently at the heart of the Whyte & Mackay range. The malt produced is predominantly used in the blends produced by Whyte & Mackay but they also produce their own range of aged single malts. This bottling is part of the Scotch Whisky Express series by Cask 88, paying tribute to the great railway routes across Scotland. Each bottle in the series features artwork by Robin Barnes, depicting locomotives that once ran these rails.
