Description

The third release in Fettercairn's Warehouse 2 Collection, this 2015 vintage single malt was bottled in 2022. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, rum casks, and French red wine barriques, and bottled at 50.6% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured.

Nose
Warm honey, Alphonso mangos, brioche, cocoa, subtle forest fruits and waves of rose water, with tropical fruit, green bananas, sweet grapefruits, melon, pineapple cubes, powdered icing sugar, candy canes, a little warming spice, peppercorns and vanilla fudge.
Palate
Passion fruit, papaya, red berries and grape must harmonised with sugared almonds, patisserie spice and heather honey, with redcurrant, sultana, toasted sugar, nutmeg, crushed peppercorns, crisp green apple, pear, pineapple, peach, crumbly brown sugar, toffee, butterscotch, creamy coconut and vanilla.
Finish
Lingering hints of melted butter and raspberries, with a fabulously sweet and satisfying character, fruit and honey notes, delicate spice, burnt orange peel, and tropical fruit blast followed by lingering wood sweetness and spiciness.
