Description

This whisky is a collaboration between the two Norwegian distilleries Det Norske Brenneri and Myken, representing the first ever Norwegian blended malt. Myken received two ex-sherry casks and combined these with an almost 6-year-old 200-liter ex-bourbon barrel. This is the 'Myken Edition' of the 'Flo og Fjære' series.

Fruity and intense, with custard, creamy vanilla, assorted nuts, and caramel sauce. Also vanilla, salt, caramel, fruit, mandarins, and sweet sherry.
Palate
Full-bodied with initial notes of white pepper and hints of chili pepper. Rich maltiness and orchard fruits, followed by dried fruits. Subtle hints of oak and cut grass. Also vanilla, mandarin, sweet apples, raisins, almonds, with a spicy and peppery aftertaste.
Finish
Medium in length, vibrant and lively, with white pepper, fizzy ginger, cut grass, orchard fruits, and dried fruits. Ends on a refreshing note of peppermint chewing gum.
