Nose
Classic bourbon notes of honeyed toasty oak and wood spices, golden delicious apple slices drizzled with honey, sweet floral verbena, fresh-cut grass, saddle leather, cinnamon, caramel, butterscotch, nutmeg, and coconut.
Palate
Sweet entry, big but rounded with notes of blackcurrant and liquorice, tart orange hard candy and lemon gumdrops, yellow pound cake, sugar cookies, smoky baking spices, springtime honeysuckle, vanilla, brown sugar, dark chocolate, sweet spice, fruit notes, hints of butter, whipped cream, angel food cake and oak.
Finish
Lingering spice and white coffee notes, long and complex, smoky tobacco, turning to sweet county fair caramel apple sprinkled with walnuts and cinnamon, smooth, with chocolate and espresso notes, long, smooth, and buttery, like warm caramelized sugar crackling and melting across your tongue.
