Nose
Tight nose, a touch of proof, some chocolate opens in the background. Roasted cornbread, dried cherries. Hints of vanilla, mesquite BBQ sauce, dried limes, salted caramel, apples, red fruit, honey, syrup, brown bread, milk chocolate, bacon, oak, and chocolate covered raisins.
Palate
Pleasant, very bearable heat. Creamy vanilla custard heavily spiked, cherry cough syrup adds bitterness. Rich and syrupy mouthfeel, smoky maple char, plenty of oak and pepper. Dry, salted boiled peanuts, brown sugar, burnt chocolate, spices, oak, cloves, red and dark fruit, licorice candy, coconut, pear drops, honey sweet, pork rind, bacon fat, nougat, walnut paste, chocolate-covered cherries, sweet corn, dark fudge, Morello Cherry and sweet tobacco.
Finish
Astringent, followed by roasted corn sweetness. Dried cherry. Medium, semi-coats the mouth with sweet vinegar, nutty caramel. Long and spicy with a touch of aniseed, mildly drying. Huge waves of sweet oak, sweet corn, and dark fudge tastes. Cocoa chocolate.
