Description

The Glasgow 1770 Cooper's Cask #15/087 is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, a distillery exclusive release resulting from a collaboration between The Glasgow Distillery and US-based Kelvin Cooperage. Distilled in 2015, the unpeated spirit was initially matured in an ex-port cask before being re-racked into a unique hand-built hogshead. This special cask was crafted from half heavily charred virgin oak staves from Kelvin Cooperage and half ex-Glasgow 1770 Single Malt cask staves. Bottled in 2021 at 53.3% ABV, this non-chill filtered whisky is one of only 403 bottles produced.
