Description

A Highland malt distillery that makes up the John Dewar & Sons portfolio, providing whisky for The Deveron brand. Its single malt has also previously been known as Glen Deveron while the name Macduff is found only on independent bottlings. William Lawson Distillers was a subsidiary firm set up by Martini & Rossi in 1972 which amalgamated its existing Clan Munro operation and managed its newly acquired Macduff distillery. This Glen Deveron 5 Year Old was bottled for the Italian market, likely in the 1980s.
