Nose
Sweet and syrupy with raisins, caramelized oranges, mint, star anise, wet grass, and earthy notes. Dried fruits, citrus, spice, custard, leather, oak, walnuts, dark chocolate, and honey.
Palate
Earthy flavors, caramel, honey, wet leaves, mushrooms, cough syrup, and a whiff of smoke. Firm barley, dried peels, marmalade, juicy orange, prunes, blueberries, black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon. Sweet sherry, malt, tobacco, and leather.
Finish
Sweet at first, then oakier. Long length with black coffee, bitter charcoal, and lightly dirty sulphur. Orange liqueur, blueberries, black pepper, cinnamon, malt, cream, and a hint of pastry crust.
