Description

A malt distillery located in the town of Fogwatt in Scotland's Speyside region. It is today part of the Diageo Scotch whisky holdings and is a key contributor to its White Horse blended Scotch brand, as well as being marketed, albeit without great prominence, as a single malt. One of Scotland's most iconic and long-running independent bottling brands. Introduced by Gordon & MacPhail in the 1970s, it has been their flagship label ever since. Glen Elgin is renowned for its fruity, honeyed spirit, often described as one of Speyside's most characterful yet understated distilleries. This 1968 vintage is part of the Connoisseurs Choice series by Gordon & MacPhail.
