Nose
Toasted brioche and vanilla sponge cake promise a sweet and moreish single malt. Freshly cut grass and toasted oak offer more subtle complexities.
Palate
Buttery and oily popcorn with sweet brown sugar and almond. With water added, fresh green notes of pear and cardamom rise to the fore and then make way to a waxy and prickly peppery note of anise.
Finish
Elegant and refined. Crisp apple and then into sweet malt and salted caramel popcorn. Faint spiciness develops and drifts off to provide a medium-long finish.
