Description

A unique 18-year-old limited release from Glen Elgin, part of the 2017 Diageo Special Releases. This expression is a marriage of two distinct batches: one fermented with Pombe yeast and matured in ex-bodega casks, and the other with Cerevisiae yeast and matured in refill European oak butts. This experimental approach results in a complex Speyside malt with a rich, fruity, and slightly off-kilter character.
