Nose
pleasant nose, with hints of sweet malt and a refreshing mentholated note. Rather fruity, showing oranges, lots of juicy Granny Smith apples, unripe pineapple. Some honey. A soft floral note too.
Palate
same fruitiness (citrus, apple) with more spices (pepper, nutmeg, ginger) – overall a bit drier than the nose suggested. Hints of gingerbread and very light mocha. Some tangy orange zest. Salted butter. Mildly bitter woody notes towards the end.
Finish
medium long, bittersweet, on malt, nutmeg and chestnuts.
