Nose
Intriguing notes of oatmeal, 'Washing Up' of cereals, beeswax, old leather, and a hint of something metallic. Then, a wave of tropical fruits, ripe mango, and passion fruit. Top notes of black and white meringues with subtle rose over time.
Palate
A rich, oily texture. Initially, a burst of citrus, lemon zest, and grapefruit. Then, a transition to more exotic fruits, pineapple, and guava. A touch of ginger and white pepper, with a subtle hint of menthol. The oak influence is well-integrated, providing a gentle spice without overpowering the fruit.
Finish
Long and lingering, with a pleasant warmth. Notes of dried apricots, honey, and a touch of dark chocolate. The menthol note returns, leaving a refreshing sensation. A truly complex and evolving dram.
