Nose
The nose is quite rich with a good sweetness. Notes of Sauternes and dates, hints of chewy toffee and rosewater. A note of chewy oak with a gentle smoke rising from the spent embers.
Palate
The palate is quite full and rich. There is a good oaked note. Plenty of winter spice rises with notes of apple peels and cut fruits. A gentle smoke emerges, followed by sherried notes.
Finish
The finish is quite long with apple juice and spice.
