Description

This classy vintage Speyside malt, aged just shy of 50 years, was distilled at the Glen Grant distillery in 1963 and was bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail in 2011. It is a wonderfully dark and inviting expression, brimming with dark and exotic fruits, winter spices, notes of ancient cognac, touches of medicine and all kinds of herbal and orange liqueurs. Glen Grant, one of the biggest names in Scotland's Speyside region, was opened in 1840 by James and John Grant and is currently under Italian ownership by the Campari Group.
