Nose
The nose has bright fruity notes of green apples and white-flesh peaches with touches of cedar (oak), honey and varnish. The grassy and biscuity quality of the malt caries across the other notes nicely.
Palate
Honey over peaches and cream, with the same green apples, cedar, grasses, biscuit and varnish mentioned on the nose. A touch of warming ginger spice. An oiliness coats the tongue well and ensures the finish is medium-long.
Finish
Medium-Long with some grip from the oak tannins, the peach notes remain and battle things out with the ginger spice.
