Description

One of the biggest names in Scotland's Speyside region, currently under Italian ownership by the Campari Group. Opened in 1840 by James and John Grant, it has one of Scotch whisky's longest-running single malt brands and played a key role in the emergence of the category in the 20th century. Perhaps one of Scotland's most important whisky companies, Gordon & MacPhail is a historic blender, independent bottler, and distiller. This particular release, the Mr George Centenary Edition, celebrates George Urquhart, the second generation of the family that owned Gordon & MacPhail, who was instrumental in promoting single malts.
