Nose
Medium-bodied and smooth with very soft peat and a touch of smoke. Malty barley sugars, vanilla fudge with spice and pepper, and tannic oak. Also notes of buffed sherry wood, aged and resinous, with delicate fruits, creamy vanilla, sultanas, orange zest, apricot, nutty brittle, beeswax, honey, strawberries, caramel, plums, popcorn, brown sugar, autumn fruits, perfumed wood, and lemon.
Palate
Good body with good sweetness. Notes of malted barley and cereal sweetness, hints of supple, subdued peat with smoke and buttery toffee. Also soft and pristine with vanilla oak, damp earth, tea leaves, oily smoke, prunes, figs, black peppercorns, watery tangerine, tobacco, redcurrants, caramel, herbs, yellow fruits (pineapple slices), warm vanilla sauce, and pancakes.
Finish
Long and smooth with a touch of fudge and pepper. Fleeting aftertaste with subtle fruity, flowery, and sweetish notes, including kiwi, elderflower, mild spices, and milk chocolate.
