Description

A rare 35cl single malt Scotch whisky from the now-closed Glen Mhor distillery, distilled in 1978 and independently bottled in 1993 by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Cask Strength series. The distillery, located in Inverness, ceased production in 1983 and was demolished in 1986. This expression is a vatting of four casks (2263, 2264, 2266, 2268) and is bottled at a natural strength of 62.2% ABV. Glen Mhor was known for using locally grown barley and a mix of Highland and Orkney peat, contributing to its unique character.
