Description

A Speyside malt distillery that was originally built as a brewery in 1828 before converting to whisky production in 1897. It was an important part of the Macdonald & Muir portfolio in the 20th century, however as of 2008 has been owned by the La Martinquaise division of COFEPP in France.

Palate
Classic sherried whisky with a big fruity side including berries, plums, dried apricots, oranges, light banana, vanilla, eucalyptus honey, peppery notes, and waxed oak.
