Nose
Huge, butter-fat oaky notes. Sweet with caramelised fruit sugars, plum jam. Water brings out a candied peel note. Perfumed and slightly minty.
Palate
Lots of oak lactone and just enough grip to give structure and interest. Nutty malt and in time a strangely exotic rose petal/angelica flavour.
Finish
Floral.
