Nose
Aged tobacco, rancio, cognac, raisins, sticky toffee pudding, damp cellar and dark fruit aromas.
Palate
Dried wild mushrooms, moist earthy notes, an abundance of different fruit qualities, spices, delicate oak tones, minerals, touches of smoke, hints of flints and balsamico and a beguiling complexity. Sweet, smooth and with a real oak flavour.
Finish
Teasing, heathery, delicious.
