Nose
Sweet and candied, with vibrant fruity notes of peach, pineapple, grape, and cherry. Charred woody notes emerge with ginger, fresh oak shavings, toffee, faint leather, and grassy elements. Bright and inviting with ripe apples, pears, and tropical fruit, layered with vanilla cream, citrus zest, and subtle floral notes.
Palate
Sweet and woody, with grassy oak, pepper, and ginger. Sweet lemons, orange peels, and a drop of herbal honey. Vanilla custard, toffee, and liquorice. Full-bodied with a balance of sweetness and dryness, floral notes, and orchard fruits. Warming notes of baking spice and toasted oak from European and Pyrenean oak influence.
Finish
Fairly long and drying, with a young oaky profile. Plenty of citrus peels and ginger. Medium long, becoming drier and more floral, with a subtle note of artificial sweetness. Lingering sweetness, gradually fading into dry spice and gentle wood tannin.
