Nose
Great elegance and charm on the nose. Breakfast pancakes and maple syrup, nostalgic and sweet. Beneath the Oloroso influence lies a grassy, herbal note, tomato leaf, and fresh hay.
Palate
Very elegant, rich and full-bodied. Thick and oily, with sherry influence providing a big hit of sultanas and figs, golden syrup, and warm cinnamon spice. A maltiness from the distillate can be found at the base.
Finish
Elegant long-lasting aftertaste. Long and warming with a touch of ginger, clove, and lingering bittersweet dark chocolate dryness.
