Nose
Sweet sultanas, dark berries, and a vinous note with hints of leather, chocolate, coffee grounds, and roasted nuts. Rich Colombian coffee, fresh dates, marzipan, mulled wine, and dark chocolate.
Palate
Grape must, juicy cherries, and a combination of grape-nut-chocolate and rum-chocolate. Smooth with creamy caramel, chocolate oranges, candied citrus peels, and sherry spice. Notes of brandy snaps, pecan cake, espresso coffee, Manuka honey, maraschino cherries, black forest fruits, warm hazelnuts, and balsamic dressing.
Finish
Medium length with subtle oak notes, coffee chocolate, and a hint of nutmeg. Dry with fruit, spice, molasses, and a whisper of aged Oloroso sherry.
