Description

A Speyside malt distillery located in the town after which it is named. It was built in 1967 by Mackinlay-McPherson and was traded around several notable distilling companies before being sold to Billy Walker in 2017. Under current ownership, its single malt has emerged as well-respected brand. This Glenallachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 8 is a harmonious blend of whisky sourced from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry puncheons, along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak and Rioja casks, meticulously curated by Master Blender Billy Walker. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration, and presented in its unadulterated colour.
