Description

To celebrate and contribute to Glenalmond College's 175th anniversary, Kilchoman and Ardnamurchan distilleries were commissioned to blend a one-off vatting of just one cask each. George, James and Peter Wills of Kilchoman, along with Alex Bruce of Adelphi (Ardnamurchan's parent company) are all former pupils of the Perthshire college, and were delighted when asked to create this limited Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. The blend consists of one peated barrel of Kilchoman from 2014 (cask no. 974) and one unpeated barrel of Ardnamurchan from 2015 (cask no. 155). The total outturn was 553 bottles, with proceeds from the sale donated to Glenalmond in support of transformational bursaries for non-fee paying students.
