Nose
Dark notes of kirsch, dry sherry, plum schnapps, European oak spices, dried toffee and caramel, cocoa powder, instant coffee, eucalyptus, fried plantains, apricot jam, roasted pineapple, peach, and orange peel.
Palate
Rich oak tannins and dry sherry notes, dried plums, bitter salad, cocoa powder, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, sour cherry juice, and a strong alcoholic tingle. Fruity with polished oak, bright citrus, and a glassy/metallic note.
Finish
Dry and tannic, slightly sour, herbal, lingering. Fruit crests with roasted malt and a hint of sherry separation.
