- Nose
- Starts with green wood, dry oak, mossy bark, foresty, spring-like, timid at first, hint of pineapple. Speyside style with extra mineral/flinty notes, unripe pears, gooseberries, mint, citrus, vegetal side (fern, cooked vegetables), hints of wet chalk and faint smoky notes.
- Palate
- Smooth and gentle, green forest notes, green leaves, wet trees, apple (Granny Smith), hint of pear, gets sweeter. Quite oily and grainy, with mineral and herbal elements, medium oak and spices, lots of ginger, fruits in the background (crystallized oranges, melon), citrus peel and ginger towards the end.
- Finish
- Rather awesome with lots of oak, a light spirit flavor. Pretty spicy with ginger, pepper and cloves.
