Full-bodied and intense. Sweet sherry, brown sugar, toffee, stewed fruits, dried dark fruits (raisins, sultanas, prunes, dried apples), Christmas cake, baking spice (cinnamon, ginger, clove, mace, nutmeg), oak, dark chocolate, cocoa, nuts (almond, hazelnut, walnut), citrus (orange peel, lemon meringue pie), pepper spice, hint of ash.
Finish
Long, warming, and powerful. Lingering sweet brown sugar, sherry, dried fruits, oak spice, pepper, nutty notes, dark chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, hint of smokiness.
