Description

Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is a robust and flavorful single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 60% ABV (105 British proof), from which it takes its name. Introduced in 1968, it was one of the world's first commercially available cask-strength single malts. It is matured in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, often Oloroso sherry, and is bottled without chill filtration.
