Nose
Intense dark sherry and chocolate, dried orange peel, toffee, cinnamon, spice, roasted almonds, and a slight vanilla sweetness. Hints of pear, sweet cream, pound cake, fig, plum, raspberry, and mild cocoa.
Palate
Thick, rich, and creamy mouthfeel with dark sherry, strawberry compote, roasted coffee beans, chocolate, dried apricot, rum-soaked raisins, and dried orange peel. Buttery and doughy with mild sulfurous notes, clove, and cocoa before the sherry fruits.
Finish
Dry, with cinnamon and spice, lasting for a very long time. Sweet, doughy, and lightly fruity as it departs, with notes of honey and ginger root.
