Description
Between 2014 and 2017, Glenfarclas released a series of stunning 40-year-old single malts exclusive to the Taiwanese market. Each bottle features an eye-catching floral design, representing the different seasons. The 2016 Edition has a colorful label with peonies, and is presented in an elegant wooden box. The Glenfarclas distillery started production somewhere in the late 18th century. It received a license in 1836, when it was run by Robert Hay. After his death in 1865, the distillery was sold to John Grant and his son George. More than 150 years later Glenfarclas is still in the hands of the Grant family, making it one of the last truly independent distilleries left in Scotland.
