Description

This rare single malt tells the story of a heritage whisky distillery, namely Glenfarclas. Distilled in 2005, the whisky enjoyed a long maturation of exactly 17 years in a single refill sherry cask, before being outturned in the Summer of 2023 to produce just 420 bottles. A member of Glenfarclas distillery's infamous Family Cask collection. Notes of orchard fruit and wood spice.

Luxurious velvety texture with a harmonious blend of rich toffee, caramel, luscious butterscotch, and honeyed sweetness. Succulent dried fruits including figs, dates, and raisins, with gentle oak tannins, creamy malt, light toffee, and subtle spice. Mouth-filling and slightly spicy with citrus fruits.
Finish
Long and satisfying, with sweetness gradually giving way to subtle oak notes and a lingering warmth. Delicate hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, spicy herbs, licorice, and a soft hint of dried fruit.
