Special release
Rare independent bottling, as Glenfarclas is notoriously protective of its brand name and rarely allows independent bottlings with their name on the label. There are reports of the distillery taking action against North Star Spirits for this bottling.

Nose
Rich, aromatic, and deeply festive, with scents of freshly baked sponge cake, blonde toffee, jammy dodgers, vanilla shortbread, caramelised pecans, red apples, milk chocolate, and Christmas cake spice. Hints of dark coffee, oak varnish, green wood, honeyed malt, and gingerbread are also present.
Palate
Punchy and unctuous, delivering a concentrated burst of ripe green apples and summer pudding, transitioning to dark red fruits (blackberries and cherries) and chocolate anglaise. A warming spice of ginger, nutmeg, and cloves is balanced by a savoury, nutty depth of roasted walnuts. Notes of sweet and sour sauce, oriental spices, chocolate custard, berry jelly, cinnamon buns, toasted walnuts, café au lait, rich Korean plum syrup, sultanas, and coffee beans are also found.
Finish
Long, creamy, and evolving, lingering with creamy espresso and chocolate fondue, tapering off with a refreshing lift. Notes of spiced honeydew melon, frappuccino, coffee ice cream, fresh melon covered with herbs, black pepper, mocha, and ginger, along with red fruits.
