Nose
A fresh and delightful aroma with warm pepper, cloves, sweet maple syrup, luxurious vanilla, flamed orange peel, apricot, plum, smooth boot polished wood, and eucalyptus. Hints of honey, sherry, and red fruits, with peaches, chocolate orange, raisins, and butterscotch from the oak.
Palate
Powerful and complex, with a smooth, oily, thick, and rich texture. Fruity notes of mint, clove, chewy toffee apples, and a light nuttiness, followed by toasted oak. Flavors of cereal, grain, barley, and toffee, complemented by a subtle herbaceous undertone and white pepper.
Finish
Warm toasted oak, hints of fruit and toffee apple, with prickles of peppery warmth. Prolonged, unveiling ripe citrus with nuances of botrytis.
