Nose
Aromas of rich oloroso sherry, sweet dried fruits (raisins, prunes, apricots), orange peel zest, cinnamon spice, leather, and chocolate. Very vibrant with plums, redcurrants, raspberry jam, polished oak, vanilla, treacle toffee, rum & raisins, and light lemon candles.
Palate
Rich sherry, dried fruits, raisins, and a slightly tart apple note. Layers of earthy root, leather, and sweet milk chocolate. Fresh with red berries, juicy plums, cranberry juice, fruitcake, honey, liquorice, and a certain grassiness.
Finish
Long and warming, with enduring chocolate sweetness, then sherry and old wood. Medium long with grassiness and fruity notes.
