Description

To celebrate the 1st year of Glenfiddich's global partnership with Aston Martin's Formula 1 team, this single malt was released as a Travel Retail Exclusive. This Glenfiddich has been matured for 19 years in a combination of hand-selected American & European oak casks, complemented by Montilla wine casks. The resulting liquid was bottled at 43% ABV, and has notes of Seville oranges and warm woody spices.

Opens with rich notes of raisins, dates, walnut loaf, dark chocolate, Seville orange, sticky marmalade, and treacle pudding. It also presents honeyed and heady aromas, with luscious fruit and floral richness of red apples, dried apples, pears, cherries, honeysuckle, and apple blossoms, with a hint of green apple peels.
Palate
Delivers vibrant flavors of warm, woody spices, ground nutmeg, cinnamon, a hint of liquorice, and a buttery pastry character. It has a chewy texture with notes of beeswax, marzipan, nougat, stewed prunes, and dried plums, alongside a naturalistic vibrance of fruit orchards.
Finish
Long and lingering, marked by woody spice notes. It is plush, receding gently with a light tannin, and features apple blossoms, honey, and beeswax, with a sprinkle of black peppercorn.
