Honey, pear, green apple, plum, floral hints, soft leather, dark chocolate, subtle sherry notes with dried fruits, oak, vanilla, baking spices, red grapes, tangy citrus, sweet almond/marzipan.
Palate
Sweet orchard fruit, apricot, walnut, spice, cocoa, gentle woody depth, rich and smooth, honeyed malt, caramel, spiced apples, dark chocolate, toffee, cinnamon, dried fruits, orange peel, cherry, raisins, ginger spices.
Finish
Medium to warming, with oak, spice, lingering dark chocolate sweetness, long and warming, with sherry sweetness and oak complexity, lingering and satisfying with hints of oak, spice, and a touch of sweetness, honeyed apricot sweetness fizzles away as the drying sherry oak finish really takes hold.
