Nose
Billowing soft peat notes, like distant smoke on the wind. Rich sweet toffee with zesty fresh fruit notes and spiciness. Hints of green apples, pineapple, oranges, black licorice, vanilla, cinnamon, and almonds.
Palate
Bold and layered, with intense smoky flavors balanced by molasses sweetness, vanilla, and notes of burnt toffee and dried fruit. Like a Highland peat campfire with oak notes, sharp green fruit, sweet baked apple, and soft smoke. Burnt marshmallow, brownies, marzipan, and tropical fruits like mango and papaya.
Finish
Lingering smokiness and sweetness. Relatively short with caramel, cinnamon, oak, and a touch of peat.
